BTW, the points made on this site made by members got it right - we were all questioning if Herm would continue to call offenses that permitted the QB to get crushed ... YEP.
So, without Croyle, Huard or Thigpen. My vote is that the team is rebuilding, so why not rebuild - start Thigpen.
Or, that's my thought for now...

I realy do feel sorry for brodie i think he could be a solid qb in the nfl. But with herms sorry gameplan he is not getting a chane to show what he can do. But if brodie is out for a while i say go with damon untill the chiefs are out of it then go with thigpen. see what he can do. But lets face it with herms track record and this sorry ofensive system tyler is likely to get in the game when damon gets carted off the field. I would like to extend my prayers for all chiefs QB under herm.

Bring Culpepper out of retirement, he is tough enough to give us at least a full season maybe two. Then we will have someone that knows how to run a team and can groom Thigpen. I dont think Huard is the answer, he is too much like Bledsoe. He stays in the pocket too long and with the young line that we have, that results in too many sacks. Culpepper would also bring the ability to move outside the pocket, making the defense change its continous '8 in the box' game plan.

Matt, I agree completely. I remember thinking when Brody was drafted, just another casualty on CP's quarterback resume. This team does not develop QBs. They'd have to pay them and CP doesn't want that. I agree that Brody is likely no where near as bad as some make out. It is just a way of sparing Herm another notch on his QB killer title. Would to god that CP could have put his personal hatred of Al Saunders away and let him transition this team to a new coach. This whole debacle has exploded in their faces and NO ONE in the media is calling them on it.

Yes I realy don't see why the media is so Herm Friendly. Look at his record its not like he is a winning head football coach. I will give herm this he belongs in football. Just not as a head coach. I would take him as the D cornador anyday. But the offense herm should be no wear near it and aas for CP he has had plentey of time to deliver a championship. Lets just hope that the rumors of his leaving after this year are true.

Different year, same dumb Chiefs fans. Herm Edwards was a loser when he came here and he's gotten ever worse. You can change QBs, coaches, whatever and it's not going to change how bad the Chiefs SUCK. And they will continue to SUCK until Herm is GONE. So keep going to the games, giving the Chiefs your hard earned money, and no reason to change. And keep posting your inept comments after each loss. Maybe all of you should check the name of this website: FIREHERMEDWARDS.COM

have you not read any of these posts? listen, hermaphrodite is an idiot. PERIOD. he's an arrogant dumbass, the worst kind because they are so convinced that they are right and everyone else is wrong... "we don't know whats wrong, but we'll get it fixed"... this is the second week in a row i've heard that gem from herm... and this quote opening his post-butt kicking news conference: "they did exactly what we thought they would do" ... if you knew what they were going to do, why couldn't you stop them? this is beyond disgusting... why any of these people have jobs is mind boggling...

Well, it appears that we have no QB at all... Maybe LJ can start at QB since we don't seem to have a game plan for him either...

You might want to check out the posts here. We have all been hammering the team, the management, and the fools who keep paying money to watch a sideshow at One Arrowhead Way.

I don't think that any of the QB's in KC are something we should look to build a franchise around. While Croyle has a hell of an arm, he is too injury prone to be anything but a backup QB. While I agree Herm's offense plays a heavy role in it (see Chad Pennington), Croyle was injury prone in college too. But Thigpen, are you for real? He is nowhere near an NFL QB, the guy is another back-up, just like Huard. How many teams has Huard played back-up for? There's a reason he never started..HE SUCKS! Herm was quoted as saying, "We need to see what these young guys have." Isn't that what the preseason is for? Here's a hint there Herm, your new QB was on a practice squad two weeks ago - what does he have? Not much. I love the Chiefs and it breaks my heart to watch us go from the #1 offense in the league to the laughing stock of the NFL. At this point I think Detroit would give us a run for our money. The only thing I can hope for is that Peterson wises up and gets rid of Edwards, so I can return to Arrowhead and watch us actually win a game.

THE CHIEFS ARE NOT THE LONE LAUGHING STOCK OFTHE NFL THERE ARE THE BENGALS I LIVE IN OHIO AND ITS ALL ABOUT THE BROWNS AND THE BENGALS WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL AT WORK I SAY IM A CHIEFS FAN AND THEY JUST WALK AWYA FROM ME. I THINK THIGPEN COULD BE A BETTER QUATERBACK IF HE HAD SOME ONE TO GUIDE HIM ALONG THE WAY MAY BE FARVE BUT WAIT THE CHIEFS PASSED ON HIM YET AGAIN MYBE THEY SHOUCL GET MCNAIR TO BE THE QB HE WAS A DECENT QB HE COULD RUN AND HE PLAYED HURT. US THE WHOLE TEAM TO PLAY NOT JUST LJ CAUSE EVERYBODY KNOWS WE CANT THROW THE BALL AND THEY KNOW WE WILL DO NOTHIING BUT RUN CAUSE SPERM, SAID SO THEY DAY HE TOOK THE TEAM OVER WE ARE A RUNNING TEAM AND LJ IS THE MAN TO DO IT IF YOUR GONNA DO NOTHING BUT RUN THE BALL WHY DRAFT ALL THOSE PLAYERS THAT HE DID WE DONT NEED TO TE WE ONLY NEED ONE QB TO HAND THE BALL OFF TO LJ GET MORE OLINE IF YOU WANT TO BE A RUNNING TEAM HELL PUT COTTAM AT FB AND LET LJ RUN BEHIND HIM IT WORKS IN MADDEN WHY NOT IN A REAL GAME LAST I CHECKED COTTAM WAS MAYBE 6'7 269 THAT A BIG BOY TO BE RUNNING BEHIND IMO. I MEAN SHIT WE ONLY HAVE ON FB AND HIS IS ONLY 6'0 THAT DONT GIVE THE BACKFIELD MUCH HELP IN PROTECTING THE QB. AND SPEAKING OF PROTECTING THE QB I THINK I KNOW WHY LJ DIDNT GET THE HEISMAN HE DID DO NOTHING BUT RUN IF YOU LOOK AT HEISMAN TRPHY WINNERS THAY DO MORE THAN JUST THE JOB THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO THEY ARE LEADERS ALSO. SO LJ IF YOU WANT RESPECT YOU NEED TO STEP UP AND BE A MAN BE A LEADER HELP PROTECT THE QB CAUSE IF THE CHIEFS ARE WINNING YOU WILL GET THE BALL. LJ IS GONNA TURN INTO A MOSS OR A TO BEFORE TO LONG IF SOMEONE DONT HELP HIM GET HIS ACT TOGTHER.
