should he stay or should he go. He has a bad career so far but i think part of it is due to herm and not having a stable qb for t he first couple of seasons. and this year they chiefs lost tony and the oline was in flux i think that would be hard for anybody. then you throw in cassel who is not known for throwing deep passes. i think after having a stable qb and a coach bowe should improve.

Here is my opinion. Give him another year. Pick up a speedster to put opposite him. Jacoby Ford in the second anyone?

Pick up a late round TE with hands and let's see how our line holds up then.

ALWAYS need a vet to teach the new guys. I have a lot of respect for Chambers and what he's done in his career and am willing to pay to keep that experience alongside our younger wide outs.

I don't know guys. This is one of those what if moments. If you cut him and he does really well somewhere else, you kick yourself. If you keep him and he's an apparent bust, you kick yourself. Tough spot for any coach or manager on this one.

I said when Bowe was drafted that H**m just wanted a blocking WR to augment what he thought was going to be this massive running game. Bowe definitely has some physical talent but he never had breakaway speed and probably never will. He is just not the typical eat 'em up WR we think of when Boldin and others come to mind. Sometimes I wonder if he knows what he wants to do on the field. It is apparent that TG was big reason he was successful his first year. TG was the primary go to and this took a LOT of heat off Bowe. It has shown up more and more since TGs departure. Until they landed Chambers last year, Bowe was doing absolutely nothing. Agree that coaching changes and offensive philosophy take awhile to get straightened out. Still, I think he was initially taken to shore up the down field run blocking and of course he showed talent. But look at the drops too. That is field discipline. Or more to the point, lack of it. This will be an interesting one to watch.

I can agree to that. Bowe is a disappointment, but he's one we're stuck with for the time being. With a speed receiver, receiving TE and Chambers we should still be alright. If it works out, Bowe will either fade into obscurity or finally start playing to the supposed potential everyone claims he has.

bowe was not the only chief to have drops we led the nfl with drops all of our receivers had drops but yes bowe had 11 even the "great" to had 7 drops this past season so did Brandon Marshall. so to say that he is a bust i wouldnt doubt that look at some of the players yes some are old players but holmes and davis are still in there prime and both had qb problems look at marshell he aslo had droppes passes and he had qb problems also. like i said i think the main reason was the line was never the sam,e and everybody had learned one offense and then they had to turn around and learn a new one within days of playing.
