WOW 41-7 thats what Herms team can deliver now. A 6 game loseing streak. I am 2 young to remeber the last time that they Chiefs lost 6 in a row. So i am new to this whole being one of the laughing stocks in the NFL. I guess it could be worse I could be a fan of the Dolphins but I can not rember a Chiefs team being this bad. It can only be blamed on the Lack of Coaching.  Here are some of the problems throught out the season that i have found becuse i Watch each and every one of the Press confraces that Herm does that is on Kcchiefs.com
1. Herm says that he did not change this offence. REALY how can he get through that with a Stright face. If he had not changed the Offence then we would see alot of the plays that we remeber. Maybe it is just me but the one thing that i notice the most is they don't run any of the toss running plays that they use to. Next there is not as much motion before the snap that there use to be. These are just a couple of the little things that I have noticed.
2. Herm says that they offence is not working but says that he is not going to change it. HOW CAN ANY COACH SAY THAT.  Is that one of the coaching staffs job ADJUST what is not working . If you think about it if everyteam tooks Herms Method then the same team would win the superbowl every year as long as they kept the same team together. If something is not working then you have to make adjustments. THAT IS ONE OF THE MAIN JOBS OF A COACH. And lets not forget if you continue to run the same offence over and over agin then you become Predictable with hurts your offence even more.
3. The talent that Herm has gotten rid of. EXAMPLES TRENT GREEN DAUNTE HALL. When was the last time the chiefs had a kick return that even looked like it could go the distance.Daunte hall may not have had the numbers that you would like from a reciver but he was still a threat to go all the way. Now lets talk about the QB postion. While i Belive that Brodie Croyle Will be a good QB in the futher I think that he could have benifited from anther year watching Trent at QB i know last year was a down year for Trent but he still is a good QB in the right system. How many QBS have only began there NFL carears after a couple years on the bench. The more time a QB has to learn the system the better he will be when he does get in the games.
These are 3 things that I a person who does not no half of what a Head Coach in the NFL should no has picked up on. any coach that loses 6 in a row and gets blown away by a divison rival should fell some heat. Lets hope that this site can get enough Buzz to make Herms seat hotter!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Matt. Well, I started out with about ten paragraphs of stuff typed up to explain why 1948 style football won't work in the NFL anymore. Do you or anyone else really need me to convince you? It is right there in front of everyone to see. Your points are right on and I will add some more. Daunte Hall and Lawrence Tynes.  Both were cast aside like old shoes. For what? NOTHING in return. Only a bad pick for a kicker that did not work out and absolutely ZERO return game. You have to love the latest nonsense coming from the local talking heads on the sports radio channels. You see, this is all Dick Vermeil's fault. Too many bad and traded first round draft picks. Uh, okay but lets look at those "blown" traded picks. They picked up Roaf, Wiegman, Waters, Holmes, Green, and Tony Richardson. Yep, to hell with those two superbowls, Vermeil was an incompetent idiot. I have some news for these apologists. EVERY NFL TEAM DEALS IN FREE AGENTS NOW! You cannot completely build a team from the draft. If you get great players their re-signing bonuses will not allow you to pay all your other draftees that work out what they are worth. This management has botched drafts since it has been here. It did not start with Dick V. You talk about bad choices, look at the cap money we are out for a "franchise back" who cannot play. A guy who many fans were fed up with last year even though he had run lights out. FWIW, remember this. The announcers yesterday said that while the Chefs had only four first round picks left on their team since 2001, the Donkeys had only ONE. It doesn't stop them from coaching what they have.

Injuries. Yep, every team gets them but look at the Jets under HE and then the Chefs. See any eerie familiarities? It is what you get when your line is eating 8-9 man bull rushes of the passer or a run blitz on nearly every running play. It is called PREDICTABILITY. You can count on one hand the number of teams in the last 25-30 years who have won a championship trying to play this old school football. 85 Bears, 93 Giants(Bufflalo's kicker missed a chippy 16 yarder or we wouldn't be talking about the 93 Giants),and the 2000 Ravens. Did any of them come within a whisper of repeating? I think the answer is obvious. Now you look at the dynasty teams. Frisco, Dallas, the 70's Steelers, and the Pats. They could all play ferocious D but they could also score when they wanted to, not just when they needed to. That is the difference between great coaches like Bellichick, Mike Shanahan, Walsh and our coach. Like it or not, you have the second best coach in the NFL out there in Denver and somehow, bad drafts or not, he keeps plugging in running backs and linemen and just goes out and wins most seasons. It is called coaching to your talents and abilities. Our guy just tries to impose his scheme whether he has the parts to do it or not. Even if he had "his" players it would not lead to a superbowl. Look, we had the best "Martyball" guy of all, Marty. He could not get it done and everyone knows our playoff record under him. Is there any reasonable person who thinks this guy could somehow pull off what no other martyballer could? This is a joke that no one is laughing at. Until the owners get a belly full, we have at least two more years of this crap to watch.

Marty may not have won playoffs, but he sure did win games. No matter how much you dislike Marty, he was a hell of a lot more effective than Herman. Herman just looks confused out there.

Winning records + Playoff Losses = Happy Fans + Packed Stadium
Losing records + No Playoffs Chances = Unhappy Fans + Empty seats

I would love a playoff loss right about now.  This is the first time I can think of where the second half of the season has held no playoff promise whatsoever.  We are doomed for .500 ball (at best) with Carl and Herm leading the way.  I hope Clark Hunt isn't falling for this facade (that means false-front for all of you Herm and Carl lovers out there).
